Sweet potato pellets

Sweet potatoes have become increasingly popular in pet food and have proven to be a safe, healthy, and natural ingredient with a range of health benefits, especially for dogs. Besides their high vitamin and mineral content, especially vitamins A, C, and B6, as well as potassium and calcium, they support a healthy digestive system thanks to their high starch content of at least 55%. On top of all this, sweet potatoes are generally regarded as a very high quality carbohydrate source.

Sweet potato pellets

IQI’s sweet potato pellets are a grain-free alternative pet food ingredient. For strict quality control and transparent reporting on the sourcing and production of this ingredient, IQI has developed its own vertically integrated supply chain of Tai sweet potato together with its partner. All contracted farmers have the required GMP and HACCP quality certificates and will always deliver certain minimum amounts of sweet potato as part of their contracts. This results in a sustainable, clean, and reliable source that guarantees consistent pellet quality, low in iron and with negligible pesticide residues.
